About Me


David is an award-winning real estate broker with Union Capital Realty, having completed over 80 transactions worth more than $50M since 2018.


In addition to being a successful broker, David has over 13 years of commercial underwriting experience, having underwritten and funded billions in real estate transactions across various asset classes.  At CFO Capital he has been instrumental in structuring complex financing solutions.


Previously, he worked in investment banking and private equity, advising on acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raises across industries like media, technology, and real estate.

David holds a BBA from the Schulich School of Business, specializing in Finance and Applied Mathematics. Outside of work, he enjoys family time and golfing.

He was easy to communicate with, quick to reply to e-mails/texts and was always willing to accommodate our busy schedule. The townhouse we ended up purchasing had some potential complications with the shared laneway that could have affected the financing and closing, but with his help negotiating conditions to protect us as buyers and connecting us with the experienced lawyers and lenders familiar with the potential issue, we were able to secure the property for significantly less than market comps. David was professional and easy to work with. We searched for condos prior to covid and took a long break until I was ready to search again. Once I found a unit I liked, he was able to implement a buying strategy which secured the condo at a reasonably price, especially during this hot market. …David was professional and easy to work with. When I wanted to check out a place, he was there making sure I got to see it right away.He is thorough and knowledgeable, always readily available with any questions or concerns I may have. He knew what I was looking for, my price range and what areas I wanted to stay in.The day I saw the home I wanted, David was right there making sure the paperwork was done, and we made an offer on the spot. We were able to close that same night for a fast closing of just 2 weeks. How David managed that? I know he was working really hard behind the scenes - making calls and getting things done. Case in point: He was able to close the deal with a one day condition that we had a lawyer and house inspector able to take me on within a day and finish closing during that 2 week window. Thank goodness he did because I would have been scrambling and wondering what to do if he didn't have people already in his corner.Like I said, he made the process so easy that buying a house wasn't a stressful or scary thing (other then realizing how much you have to pay for your bills later on 😳). I sat back and "relaxed" while he crossed all our t's and dotted our i's.David is someone you definitely want in your corner when you're buying or selling real estate.
